When should you see a doctor?
You must seek medical advice when:
- The first time you suspect a yeast infection.
- If you have a reaccuring infection and are not quite sure if it is a fungus or can recognize the typical symptoms.
- If the symptoms reaccur more than twice within a period of 6 months.
- There is no improvement after three days of treatment.
- If not all symptoms are entirely gone 7 days after the treatment was initiated.
- If you have sores around the labia or the vaginal opening.
- If you have discolored or foul-smelling discharge.
- If you have stomach / lower abdominal pain.
